Dispensary

Dispensary Query Line Telephone: 01621 876760 (opt 3) line open 14:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday

Email: prescriptions.f81099@nhs.net

The dispensary team has three qualified dispensers, Maria, Lauren, Rachel and Kerry.

Dispensary/Prescription Clerk opening hours are Monday to Friday 08:30 – 18:30.   Closing for lunchtime between 13.00pm - 14.00pm

We will always try to answer any medication questions you have, if we can’t we will ask your GP for you.

We offer a delivery service of £1 per drop to elderly or house bound patients (this means you need to live at least one mile from the nearest chemist) and you need to request this when ordering your repeat prescription. We can then advise you when the next delivery day in your area is (at least once or twice a week).

Electronic Prescribing Service

This practice is set up for the electronic prescription service.

This means that for most patients we can send your prescription to your chosen chemist directly saving you having to come down to the surgery.

To get your prescription sent to your chosen pharmacy you will have to ask reception to sign up.

Click here for more information about electronic prescribing services.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to speak to a Clinical Pharmacist at least once a year to review these regular medications and a notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
