As well as a long-standing GP practice we also provide the following services:

Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP):

An ANP is a nurse who has undertaken extra training in clinical assessment.  They can deal with minor ailments and Illnesses and more complex issues.

Paramedic:

Triage, home visits (if patient eligible) minor ailments and illnesses

Nursing Team:

Triage Nurse:  clinical advice via the telephone, minor ailments, prescribes medications acutely or on repeat, refers to District Nurse or home phlebotomy if required.

Treatment Nurse:

Dressings, Immunisations, ECG, B12 injections, Smear Tests, Contraception (depo and pill check)

Healthcare Assistant:

Dressings, Wound Checks, B12 injections, Blood Tests (if patient is eligible), health checks and new patient checks on Monday morning.

Asthma Clinics:  Tuesday morning and COPD clinic on Tuesday afternoon

Diabetic Clinics:  Thursday and Friday all day

Travel Clinics: Tuesday afternoon only

Physiotherapy:  Monday all day, Wednesday morning and Friday afternoon (telephone appointment only on Fridays)

Out of Hours:  Monday 6.30pm – 8pm Minor Illnesses and Treatment Nurse, Thursday 7am – 8am Treatment Nurse, Friday 7am – 8am Treatment Nurse, Friday 7.15 – 8am Blood tests only (if patient is eligible)

RSV Vaccin: Administered from 3^rd September 2024.  Please see the attached poster and book with reception if you are eligible  This vaccine ideally should not be administered with the covid and flu vaccine
