We appreciate it’s been a tough year. With the government relaxing the rules, we as a surgery are approaching this with caution. We have now re-opened our doors to patients, however we will continue to ask for face coverings to be worn.
This is the only way we can control social distancing in our small surgery to protect our patients as well as our staff.

Patients have always had access to seeing a GP throughout this pandemic, but most appointments will continue to begin with a telephone call; please continue to telephone the surgery for your appointment

Flu Vaccination Programme 2021
We have been advised that there will be a possible two week delay for the delivery of our flu vaccinations. Unfortunately those patients that have a booked appointment for Saturday 18th September will need to be rebooked for Saturday 2nd October 2021 (if you have received an appointment, the appointment time and venue will remain unchanged). We will endeavour to contact all those patients that are affected. We apologise for any inconvenience but this is beyond our control.
We have been asked by NHS England to deliver the COVID 19 mass vaccination programme and this has been effective from 18 December 2020.
Patients aged 16+ (aged 12+ with serious medical conditions) are now eligible for the vaccine. We as a surgery are now unable to book any first or second vaccination appointments, please book via the NHS booking toll or by telephoning 119.
Please note that a booked holiday is not a clinical reason to receive an earlier vaccination. Operationally, second dose vaccinations will not offered earlier than eight weeks except in accordance with the guidance issued by JCVI. The Practice does not provide 'vaccine certificates' and patients should use the NHS App or 119 for this purpose.

COVID-19 Booster Vaccination Programme
We are commencing our booster programme on Saturday 18th September 2021. You will be eligible for your booster six months following your second vaccine. We will contact you to book your appointment in due course and when your booster vaccination is due.
Please note this service has currently been suspended due to the current coronavirus pandemic.
Please contact the surgery by telephone to make an appointment. Please DO NOT send an email or letter requesting an appointment as these requests will not be acted upon.
Please DO NOT come to the surgery unless you are advised to do so by a clinician. If you do have an appointment at the surgery, we kindly ask that you wear a face mask. Most appointments will be by telephone or video consultation in the first instance. Please note all calls may be recorded.
Test Results Bypass Line
Test results can be obtained Mon-Fri 10.00am-1.00pm, by dialling 01621 493584. Please do not come into the surgery - all results are to be obtained over the telephone.
Our main Practice in Princes Road (Maldon) is located close to the high street and adjacent to the council offices.
The branch surgery is located in Rowan Drive, Heybridge. Appointments for this site can be booked via the main Practice reception team.

Wheelchair access can be made through the front door and the toilets are suitable for disabled patients. Designated parking is available.
The practice has limited parking designated for patients' use whilst attending the surgery. Abuse of this facility causes congestion, which could delay emergency services. Additional parking facilities are at the public car park off Maldon High Street. Parking in the access road to the practice is limited to designated spaces.
