Dispensary/Prescription Clerk Opening hours are Monday to Friday 08:30am – 18:30pm.
We will always try to answer any medication questions you have, if we can’t we will ask your GP for you.
We offer a free delivery service to all dispensing patients (this means you need to live at least one mile from the nearest chemist) and you need to request this when ordering your repeat prescription. We can then advise you when the next delivery day in your area is (at least once or twice a week).
For non-dispensing patients all local chemists run a collection service from us enabling you to collect your repeat prescription from them at your convenience; please ask your nearest chemist for details.
Electronic Prescription Service
A new way to get your medicines and appliances
The Electronic Prescription Service gives you the chance to change how your GP sends your prescription to the place you choose to get your medicines or appliances from.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
